Parents And Teachers Association (F.O.R.C.E.S.)

F.O.R.C.E.S was formed to help to develop and to maintain closer links between the school, the parents and the community. They organise and help to promote a closer awareness and understanding of educational issues. As a result of activities over the past few years funds raised have enabled the school to contribute towards an extension of indoor toilets, office and a new library, Computer Systems, Printers, C.D Roms, Concept Keyboards, Computer Software, Digital Camera, a mezzanine floor extension, and Educational Visits. The children are regularly involved in raising funds for charity and contribute to different organisations each year.

Parents are often involved in our school day helping small groups of children with baking, knitting, sewing, sporting or creative activities, or with transport. All parents are automatically members of F.O.R.C.E.S (Friends of Roecliffe C.E. School) and your valued contribution and support is vital for the continuing success of the school.

The best way for you to help your child at school is to let them know that you take an interest. Please praise progress and build up your child's self-confidence. We hope you will be active partners with the school in helping your child to achieve his/her full potential and enjoy sharing the learning and development.
